Bathing Suits Feauting...Spanx?

I have already been hitting the beach and it's been fantastic.  Only problem is I am still in last years swimsuits.  I love shopping but dread shopping for a bathing suit!

While searching online, much to my surprise, I found that Spanx offers bathing suits how fab is that?  I usually have all kinds of suit malfunctions on the beach too from crashing waves.  Now with a spanx suit I doubt I would have to worry about that and I could have my belly trimmed down too!

Only downside.....the price.  Around 200 dollars for a suit.  Holy Crap!

They come in sizes up to a 16 and they sell not only one pieces but two pieces as well.  You can shop from online or check for a store near you.

The suits are actually quite adorable!  Check out a few below.

Looks like this two piece is sold out but it's so cute!

Lane Bryant Commercial

What an outrage for women everywhere.  Not just plus size ladies but women in general.  Fox and ABC has decided not to air the following Lane Bryant commerical because it is too "racy" for their 8 p.m. time slots.  I guess it's perfectly fine to watch the Victoria's Secret models parade around scantily clad not only in also in their yearly "fashion show" aired on national televison.

This troubles me because it sends the wrong message to women and young girls.  And if you ask me, the woman in the video looks beautiful.  Sure she has cleavage, but no more than Niecy Nash on Dancing with the Stars or Pamela Anderson.  Curves are beautiful.  We should be able to accept that and the media/marketing shouldn't target us with size 0 women who have no real Lady Lumps!!  Real women have curves!

The Big Bang Theory

Bangs are everywhere right now and they look so chic.  I keep telling myself I could try bangs again but then I remember the horror of maintaing the precise length and I do not want thin, wispy, curly, messy ones either.  Also factor in my round face and well, uhm......let's just say it would be a BOLD move on my part.

My hair stylist has the greatest bangs...I want them.  She hinted to me that I may not like them.  I told her oh I know but I am a risk-taker.  Besides, it's just hair and it will grow back.  I ended up deciding to wait until I could look around and read more up on how they would go with my facial shape etc.

Here are a few styles below that I really like:

Heidi has quite alot of bangs going on here!

I think the bangs make Catherine look more youthful...as well as Reese below:

I really think I am leaning more towards Jennifer Lopez's side swept bangs.  It's similar to my hair now and it's still bangs without the steep commitment just yet.  If I love it, I will take it a step further!

Pink and Green Summer Dress

Being on the larger side, I have shopped at Cato before.  Granted it has been a VERY long time ago.  So long in fact I am not quite sure I could do it again.  I can remember not being too happy with the quality/durabilty of their clothing back in the 90's.

That being said...I did come across the most adorable pink and green sundress in their window so I had to go take a peek.  Wow-Oh!  It was lined and everything and the price was 55 bux!  The great thing is they have it in Missy and Plus sizes.

Here is a pic.  What do you think?  And what do you think of Cato's clothes?

White watch from The Blind Side...(well almost)

Ever since the movie The Blind Side, I have dreamed of owning the white watch Sandra Bullock wore in the movie.  I couldn't take my eyes off of that beauty.  I searched and scoured the net only to find it was out of my price range...(sigh).  So what is the next best thing to do?  I head over to ebay and type in womens white metal watch....cha-ching!  I found one that fit the bill.  Or kept my purse strings tight enough so I could still pay the bills!

I am in love with this watch.  Even if spring calls for colorful watches, I will sport this one.  It has just a little bling around the dial but not too much.  It's all about still living fabulously no matter where you are in life!

Of course this was before I adjusted the watch band so it's sliding down my arm some in this pic.

This is a close up picture of the dial from the auction page.  It looks so fab in person!

Pop what?

I totally admit it.  I am a late night product junkie.  I have tried some really "promising" stuff in the past such  as smooth away hair removal.  You know the round thing you rub on your legs to SAND PAPER the hair off?  Needless to say, I'm not a fan.  Then again I've also tried Heeltastic which works great!  I am just not too fond of the stink-a-roma.

Well last night I had to take a double take at the t.v.  I heard the words, booty pop-just like the padded bra.
For a small price women can have the booty of their dreams.  That would be great for my pancake rump.  Although my post baby belly has enough going on down there.  I would probably have to up my jean size and that's not a fun thought!

Check it out for yourself...It looks great if you need that extra oomph in your back parts.  If not, it's quite entertaining with their product name.  I think I could have came up with a clASSier one!

6 Accessories For Spring...

According to top experts these fashions will be "in" this spring.  I will share my opinion below:

The scarf:  I'm so glad to see scarves make a come-back.  I especially love the light fabric ones that drape effortlessly.  This one on Jennifer Aniston is a perfect example.  I have picked up quite a few from Old Navy already this year.

Straw Fedora:
I'm not quite sure I'm sold on this one, but it's kind of cute.

Nude Heels:
Okay these are from Forever21 and I think they are adorable.

Next up is a bright Handbag.  This would look amazing with nude heels.

Also spring fashion calls for a neon watch....too bad I ordered that white watch as seen in the movie the Blind Side.  Here is a neon blue one from Urban Outfitters.  They have other colors as well.  I will stick to my white watch for spring!  That is unless I can find a great looking neon watch on sale..

And finally a classic trench coat.  Although I don't see much need for a long coat in spring and I tend to favor the much shorter versions.  Target has some out right now in bright colors.

Are you ready for spring?
